Information Ivy collects and controls

We collect only required information. Most of this information is provided by you when you Book a demo, Chat with Us or while downloading reports. Under these situations, you will have to submit your personal data (name, company name, work e-mail address or phone number) to avail these services. We store credit card details only after obtaining permissions from you. These information will only be stored only on our secured payment gateways.

Sometimes we receive information indirectly from Google. We’ll use that information to complete the request that you made. Any engagement with our brand on social media will allow us access to your interactions and profile information. We’ll still have that information even if you later remove it from the social media site.

Information you provide us

i. Book a Demo form – This forms collects basic information like your name, company name, job titles, email and phone number.

ii. Chat with Us – For customization and to continue chatting with our customer care representatives, you will provide us with your name, phone number and work email addresses.

iii. Download Documents – When you try and downloads reports, whitepapers or feature releases from our website, we will collect information like your name, your work email address and phone number.

iv. Subscribe to our Newsletter – We will collect your personal information when you subscribe to our newsletter or to any of our mailing lists.

v. Interactions with Ivy : We may record, analyze and use your interactions with us, including email, telephone, and chat conversations with our sales and customer support professionals, for training and quality purposes.

Information we collect automatically

i. Information from Clickstream – When you visit our websites, we collect information about the browsers, devices and servers made available. To accurately describe we collect your internet protocol (IP) address, language preference, time zone, referring URL, date and time of access, operating system, mobile device manufacturer and mobile network information. We include these in our log files to understand more about the traffic visiting our websites. The Clickstream Data we collect generally does not identify you as an identifiable person, but if it does, we will treat it as Personal Data. If your browser has a “private browsing” mode you may be able to block this information from being sent to Spiceworks, but in some cases this may impact your ability to use the Service.

ii. Information from first party cookies and tracking technologies – We use temporary and permanent cookies to identify users of our services and to enhance the user experience. We have embedded unique identifiers in our downloadable documents to track usage of these materials. We also use cookies, beacons, tags, scripts, and other similar technologies to identify visitors, track website navigation, gather demographic information about visitors and users, understand email campaign effectiveness and for targeted visitor and user engagement by tracking your activities on our websites. iii. Information from application logs and mobile analytics – We collect information about your usage of our application from logs and in-house analytics tools, and use it to understand how your business use and needs can improve our products. This information includes clicks, scrolls, features accessed, access time and frequency, errors generated, performance data, storage utilized, user settings and configurations, and devices used to access and their locations.

Information we collect from third parties

i. Information from our partners and service providers : If you contact any of our partners, or otherwise express interest in any of our products or services, the partners will pass your name, email address, company name and other information to Ivy.

ii. Information from event registration – If you register for or attend an event that is sponsored by Ivy, the event organizer may share your information with us.

iii. Information from Review websites – Ivy may also receive information about you from review websites if you comment on any reviews of our products and services, and from other third-party service providers that we engage for marketing our products and services.

iv. Publicly available information – When you engage with us on social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram through posts, comments, questions and other interactions, we may collect such publicly available information, including profile information, to allow us to connect with you, improve our products, and better understand user reactions and issues.

v. Professional Employment Information – Information related to Company or Organization name, profession, position, professional email address, and mobile number will be obtained from clients while form filling and downloading documents.

Opt out of non-essential electronic communications : You may opt out of receiving newsletters and other non-essential messages by using the ‘unsubscribe’ function included in all such messages. However, you will continue to receive notices and essential transactional emails.

Optional information : You can choose not to provide optional profile information such as your photo. You can also delete or change your optional profile information. You can always choose not to fill in non-mandatory fields when you submit any form linked to our websites.
