Infor Complements its Food & Beverage Industry Cloud Platform with World-Class Route-to-Market Solution from Ivy Mobility

Infor Partners with Ivy Mobility for its World-Class Route to Market Solution

May 25, 2023

In a recent announcement made at the Infor Food & Beverage Connect event held in Chicago, Infor, a prominent industry cloud company, has unveiled a strategic partnership with Ivy Mobility aimed at strengthening the solution ecosystem for consumer packaged goods (CPG), food, and beverage manufacturing, and distribution businesses. The primary objective of this collaboration is to provide advanced mobile solutions to support direct store delivery (DSD), merchandising, and in-store operations across the global F&B markets.

Ivy Mobility specializes in delivering intelligent route-to-market solutions tailored to the needs of consumer goods manufacturers and distributors. Our cloud-based solution seamlessly integrates with Infor’s industry cloud platform, making it a highly compatible choice for this strategic alliance. We have our headquarters in Singapore and have a strong presence in North America, Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and Latin America, operating in over 57 countries worldwide.

Marcel Koks, Infor’s industry and product strategist for the food & beverage industry, emphasizes the significance of this partnership by stating, “Infor has more than 1,000 food and beverage manufacturing and distributing customers, many of which are in markets and product categories that are delivered directly to stores and other points of sale, such as bars, restaurants, schools, hospitals, and fuel stations.”

According to Koks, this particular sales channel necessitates the utilization of advanced and user-friendly mobile solutions for the workforce, both on the go and within the stores, which should be accessible both online and offline.

The integration of Ivy Mobility’s offerings with Infor CloudSuite Food & Beverage creates a powerful software solution. While Infor CloudSuite Food & Beverage effectively manages critical aspects such as customer and product master data, sales order entry, warehousing, and accounts receivable, Ivy Mobility takes responsibility for executing essential tasks like route deliveries, van sales, field orders, and returns, credit card payments, as well as merchandising and in-store activities. Additionally, our solution encompasses features like route and visit planning, van load management, and end-of-day van stock reconciliation.

Douglas Remick, Senior Sales Director and Global Partnership Lead at Ivy Mobility expresses his enthusiasm about the collaboration, stating, “Ivy Mobility is excited to partner with Infor and give our 100+ global CPG customers access to the combined portfolio of solutions. As our industry looks to adapt and excel in a post-COVID world, there is a growing need for partnerships between best-in-class solutions.” He highlights that through this partnership, global CPG companies can effectively access up-to-date, well-structured information, empowering their frontline to perform at a higher standard.

The strategic partnership between Infor and Ivy Mobility leverages their collective expertise and resources to deliver comprehensive and efficient mobility solutions that cater to the evolving needs of the global F&B markets. By enabling seamless coordination and enhanced visibility across the supply chain and in-store operations, this collaboration will assist businesses in streamlining their processes, elevating customer experiences, and driving growth within an increasingly competitive industry landscape.
