Britannia has implemented a mobile handheld based solution from Mobility for our Distributor’s salesman to automate their daily Sales Call Process. ln a general trade environment, every Britannia representative sales man covers 35 retail outlets per day (6 days a Week) and sells Britannia products as per “Sales Call process” with channel strategic priorities as defined by Britannia. The SmartDistributor solution from Ivy Mobility intelligently defines the various sales targets (value, lines and bill cut efficiency) for the day’s Work and displays at the days start in form a salesman score card. This ensures all the winning tasks are performed in the most effective manner by the salesman, generating the desired sales growth. At present Britannia has rolled out this solution to 650 salesman across the country and plan to cover another 1000 salesman in next 6 months.
